We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. This individual will work closely with many departments of the company as well as suppliers and transportation companies to maintain the appropriate inventory. This position is located in Stratford, Connecticut.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
  • Hands on working closely with many departments of the company, suppliers and transportation companies to maintain appropriate inventory
  • As a distributor of global products, purchasing both domestic and international goods
  • Use all available resources such as purchase history and current market information. Analyze this information and ing to needs is paramount.
  • Timing is equally important in setting up deliveries to keep our inventory at just levels.
  • In addition to the proactive nature of the position, a reactive approach is necessary to handle fluctuation in sales and issues with receiving products.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required
